About the opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists to join our innovative supportive and growing Paediatric unit at Werribee Mercy. Our paediatric unit is currently expanding with growth in our outpatient/inpatient services and has a well-established busy SCN service.
The Registrar role for 2026 will include:
Paediatric, SCN, HITH, Emergency and Outpatient exposure
Excellent supportive environment
Outstanding teaching program including simulation- 5 hours phone free each Wednesday
Job share and part time positions will be considered
6-month, 12 month and year combination positions available
Combination posts consist of:
6-month General Paediatrics WMH and 6 month Community Paediatrics WMH and vice versa
6 month General Paediatrics WMH and 6 months NICU – Mercy Hospital for Women
Both General Paediatrics and Community Paediatrics WMH are accredited for Advanced training
PEM trainees are welcome to apply
About You:
We are looking for a Registrar who has:
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Paediatric and neonatal experience (minimum 6 months experience in dedicated NICU)
Excellent communication skills
Interest in being part of a team
Enthusiasm to learn
