About the opportunity
Lead and manage Mercy Health’s Health Independence Programs to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred and timely care that promotes optimal independence in the community.
The role has responsibility for integrated and coordinated service delivery across, Sub Acute Ambulatory Care, Complex Care Coordination, Specialist Clinics and related services, ensuring alignment with Department of Health HIP Guidelines to achieve activity, quality, financial and workforce targets.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
Strong leadership and people management capability, with the ability to lead, support and develop high‑performing multidisciplinary teams through clear communication, coaching and accountability.
Proven operational and service improvement capability, including experience developing and implementing strategies that optimise patient access, service flow and timely delivery of care within complex health programs.
Demonstrated collaboration and stakeholder engagement capability, enabling effective partnerships across departments and with key stakeholders to lead performance improvements and support integrated care across inpatient, outpatient and community‑based settings.
Capability in performance monitoring and service governance, with the ability to analyse performance data, evaluate outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement and implement service enhancements.
A strong quality and safety improvement capability, underpinned by a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and embedding a culture of high‑quality, safe and person‑centred care.
About you
To be successful in this role, you require:
Nursing or Allied Health Professional Qualification
Current AHPRA registration
Previous management experience leading nursing or multidisciplinary teams.
Postgraduate leadership / management desirable
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
