About the opportunity
Mercy Perinatal is an international centre of excellence in the care of pregnant women and newborns, based at Mercy Hospital for Women and affiliated with The University of Melbourne. You will join a small, passionate and high-performing team of clinicians, administrators, and researchers, playing a key role in shaping our digital presence, showcasing world-class education and research, and deepening engagement with our consumer network (MaPLE).
- Provide operational and administrative support across digital media, events, communications and consumer engagement to deliver Mercy Perinatal’s education, research and clinical activities.
- Plan, create and schedule digital content (including social media, web and podcasts) and support the promotion and delivery of key educational events.
- Collaborate with Mercy Perinatal leaders, clinicians, researchers and consumers to support the MaPLE Network and ensure effective, high-quality engagement.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in marketing and communications (including digital channels), with excellent written and verbal communication skills, creativity and attention to detail.
- Well-developed project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise, work autonomously, meet deadlines and work flexibly.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
