Description
Job Summary:
The role will handle, move, and store various materials within the warehouse. This position is not just a forklift operator role—we need someone who is willing to take on a variety of shipping and material handling duties.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operates a forklift in a safe manner while being aware of surroundings (ex. pedestrians,
- other forklifts, equipment).
- Multitasks to fulfill all requests in a timely manner.
- Identifies and locates the correct areas to deliver products in the warehouse.
- Keeps all material handling equipment in the best condition by calling the Maintenance
- Team for repairs and regular preventative maintenance.
- Moves products around the facility using forklift.
- Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills:
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills (ex. addition, subtraction, multiplication).
- Mechanical inclination.
- Forklift operation
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Interpersonal and written communication.
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
Abilities:
- Function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Works well with others on a team.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, and mobile equipment.
- Routine, repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs., occasional, heavy lifting, and pushing / pulling 10
- lbs. regularly, 1 to 10 hours per day.
- Any combination of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching,
- reaching, handling, feeling, and walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to work up to 8–10-hour shifts and overtime as required by the work.
- Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.
- Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of
- surrounding area.
- Vision abilities required by this job: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
- vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
