Under the direction of the GSOC Supervisor, the GSOC specialist is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for Paycom’s campuses, employees, and visitors.

- Monitor activity on campus using video surveillance to identify hazards or unsafe conditions. Live monitor access control across the globe for over 60 locations to identify unauthorized access attempts and respond accordingly.
- Dispatch and coordinate response to security incidents that occur on company properties. Collaborate with a variety of business entities to address issues. Handle and document all department radio traffic.
- Control access to corporate premises and field locations to prevent unauthorized access to facilities. Maintain control of all building keys and conduct annual audits.
- Operate workstation, security systems, access control systems, and other tools and systems as required. Respond urgently, effectively, and professionally to emails, internal security related questions, and phone calls.
- Stay aware of adverse weather conditions Globally or other disruptions for impact to offices and employees. Notify affected employees of those potential weather events. Create executive briefings for weather, road conditions, local, or global crisis.
- Follow policies and procedures when responding to emergency situations. Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills during unusual events or emergencies.
- Effectively communicate to executive leadership in a crisis or high stress situations. Track high level travel and relay travel information to stake holders as necessary.
- Coordinate with HR Onboarding to ensure employees receive badges in a timely manner. Provide world class customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. Assist Physical Security in the verification process of visitors, vendors, and employees.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure the most appropriate ingress and egress routes to and from emergency situations on Paycom properties.
- Assist in conducting fire and tornado drills. Conduct testing of fire alarms, burglar alarms, intercom systems, mass notification systems. Document findings during testing.
- Thoroughly investigate and document incidents. Provide findings to a wide variety of stake holders.
- Other duties as assigned
