The Corporate Controller will manage the financial reporting of the consolidated group of the ACRE entities and reports to the CFO of the consolidated group. This role will have primary day-to-day and overall responsibility for compliance, planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all accounting and finance related activities of the Company. This includes the consolidation of many legal entities, many foreign currencies and the identification, research, and conclusion on accounting topics, some of which are quite complicated. Financial reporting includes internal and external reporting requirements and management of audit and tax professionals. The role requires significant interface with the worldwide Directors of Accounting/Finance.

Job Functions:

• Consolidation: Manage the consolidation process across all entities which includes Eliminations, Foreign Currency, Investment in subsidiaries, Audit/tax work, Ongoing process improvements, identify and research complex accounting issues, etc.
• Corporate Accounting: Manage the accounting for the ACRE company, payroll, accounts payable, intercompany invoicing, quarterly and annual debt compliance requirements, interest/principle/unused line of credit payments.
• Acquisition Accounting: Assist with on-boarding of acquisitions and ensuring financial accounting and reporting readiness upon COC, computation of net working capital true-ups, and final preparation of the valuations and related accounting.
• Treasury / Cash Management: Manage the domestics Treasury Mgmt. function and liaise with international team to maximize cash movement, forecast/manage money moves to facilitate debt obligations, and hedge accounting for FX risk management and interest rate risk management.
• Audit Management: Manage the worldwide annual audit process, prepare financial statements, and manage collection of data to prepare auditable supporting schedule for all audit requirements.
• Tax Management: Manage the worldwide annual tax preparation and filing process. Managing compliance, tax payment, and all collection of schedules for all tax requirements.
• Policies and Procedures: Identification and creation of needed policies/procedures to meet the global needs of the organization. Drive Sarbanes-Oxley preparedness specific to overall financial reporting including obtaining and managing/reviewing reconciliations of the reporting subsidiaries.
• Public Company Reporting: Experience in public company reporting and related reporting requirements (ex. Segment reporting).

The ideal candidate for this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required with a minimum of 5 years experience.
• Proficient in using financial systems and software, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. ERP implementation experience a plus.
• SEC experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, self-starter, work independently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
