Description

Position Description:

  • Ensure accurate documentation of all data; validate quality of data
  • Develop and maintain study databases
  • Assist with creation of interview guides, surveys, tracking forms and other study instruments
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting; including preparation of interim and final project reports
  • Prepare materials for submission to granting agencies, foundations and Institutional Review Board (IRB)
  • Collaborate with Center leadership and staff to write new funding proposals
  • Provide technical assistance to line staff when needed
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external customers, funders and colleagues
  • Assist in disseminating study results to external audiences
  • Participate in professional activities as appropriate

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced mathematics, research design and statistical analysis
  • Quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Ability to gather, collate and classify information about data, persons or things
  • Assurance that all research practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements as well as agency policy, including appropriate documentation and follow-up for contract/grant requirements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; high attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to interface with internal and external customers
  • Maintenance of appropriate boundaries with staff and clients

Job Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in social science or health science field, plus relevant experience with research methodology and statistics
  • Working knowledge of statistical software preferred
  • Valid drivers license and current auto insurance
