Resident Advisor - Residential Housing

We’re looking for passionate, reliable, and compassionate individuals to join our residential team—people who believe that everyone deserves safety, support, and the opportunity to grow. As a Residential Advisor, you’ll be a key part of that mission.
What You’ll Do:
Be a consistent, calming presence by overseeing daily client activities and ensuring a safe, structured environment
Conduct routine safety checks and facility rounds to keep everything running smoothly
Support clients in developing decision-making and life skills
Distribute medications and observe drug screenings responsibly
Conduct searches of client belongings as needed to maintain safety
Document daily observations and incidents accurately using our software
Jump into action during emergencies, using de-escalation and crisis-management strategies
Greet and assist new clients during non-clinical intakes
Monitor behavioral changes and ensure clients move safely and appropriately through the program
Provide transportation to appointments or activities if needed
Contribute as a flexible, trusted team member—other duties may arise, and you’ll be ready
- Assist with other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
Strong communication skills—you know how to listen, speak clearly, and write effectively
Calm, level-headed problem-solving abilities, even under pressure
Basic computer know-how for documentation and record-keeping
A sense of empathy, accountability, and professionalism
Experience in human services is a bonus—but heart, integrity, and reliability are musts!
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
0–2 years of experience (we provide training and support!)
Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance (if driving is part of the role)
Essential Functions/Physical Demands:
- Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Frequent standing and walking. Occasional sitting.
- Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling.
- May require ability to walk up to 4 flights of stairs consecutively, depending on location.
- Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking/communicating.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including computer.

Part Time: 2nd Shift (Thursday 5:00pm - 10:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 2:00pm - 10:00pm)
Part Time: 3rd Shift (Saturday & Sunday 10:00pm - 6:00am)
