Position Summary: Performs maintenance duties at various agency properties across the region. Ensures quality of work and timeliness of completion for maintenance projects. Sites located in Wilmington, OH; Franklin, OH; and Lebanon, OH. |
| Position Description: - Ensures the overall maintenance of multiple Agency facilities; work is completed timely and with quality
- Performs primarily interior and exterior building maintenance and repair works such as basic plumbing and electrical, carpentry, painting, wall repair and replacing doors/parts
- Picks up supplies and equipment for facilities
- Works with external vendors and contractors as needed
- Monitors work to ensure compliance with specifications
- Moves furniture and equipment as necessary
- Maintains accurate documentation of work orders through agency system
- Other duties as assigned
| Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and plans
- Ability to plan material and supply needs
- Knowledge of building maintenance techniques and tools involved in the upkeep of buildings, fixtures and structures
- Knowledge of emergency procedures
- Skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and preventive/general maintenance
- Driving of personal vehicle
| | Job Requirements: - High School Graduate or High School Equivalency
- 1-3 years of experience
- Valid driver license and auto insurance
| | Essential Functions/Physical Demands: - Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Frequent standing and walking. Infrequent sitting.
- Gross Mobility: Frequent climbing or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling.
- May require ability to walk up to 4 flights of stairs consecutively, depending on location.
- Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity and visual accommodation. Occasional talking.
