Associate Director - Greater Cincinnati Youth Mental Health Corp

Position Summary:
The Associate Director of the Greater Cincinnati Youth Mental Health Corps program will be responsible for leadership, oversight, and management for the AmeriCorps program at the agency. This role directly supervises program supervisors, manages compliance with grant requirements through state oversite organization, and works to further the overall goals of the program toward expansion over time.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervision & Support– Provide regular supervision and leadership development for 2 program supervisors who will each oversee between 15-17 Youth Peer Supporters directly. Provide additional support, supervision, and intervention with Youth Peer Supporters directly if/as needed. Participate in cultivating meaningful and robust cohort trainings, professional development, and career exploration for Youth Peer Supporters via collaboration and guidance of program supervisors.
Program Oversight- Oversee day to day functions of the program. Monitor, gather, and analyze data related to service hours, community impact, community needs, program impact, and progress toward identified outcomes. Collaborate with Program Director on program outcome expectations, community partnerships, and program funding. Lead steps related to program recruiting for Youth Peer Supporters, coordinate training and onboarding process, and structure related to matching Youth Peer Supporters with Host Sites.
Strategic and Operational Management – Assist the program Director in goal setting, budgeting, funding source cultivation, and strategic planning for the Greater Cincinnati Youth Mental Health Corps.
Advocacy & Engagement – Promote the value of youth peer support within the community and among stakeholders. Foster a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment for AmeriCorps Members and the youth they serve. Collaborate with variety of stakeholders at host sites and in the community to empower further reach of program.
Qualifications Required:
- Clinical Licensure with Supervisory designation (IMFT-S, LPPC-S, LISW-S)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in behavioral health, mental health, social work, or other related fields
- Strong understanding of youth development, mental health, and recovery principles
- Foundational knowledge of trauma-informed care and culturally competent service delivery
- Ability to travel to host sites as needed
- Preferred; 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Preferred; experience working with AmeriCorps programs or other national service initiatives
