JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for learning various processes and jobs around the shop floor like: setup and operation of Cosan Saw and Tsune Cold Saw, driving a forklift, setup and operation of Okuma lathes and cleaning/organizing various manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities include:

· Running the Cosan and Tsune

· Working with hand tools to complete various tasks

· Cleaning and organizing various manufacturing areas

· Dumping Chip Hoppers

· Packing parts for shipment

· Loading and Unloading trucks

· Additional items as assigned by manager

PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY

This position interacts with other trades in and outside of their area including machinists, Quality Control, and other manufacturing employees.

COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS

· Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting (50-100 lbs.)

· Demonstrated strong past attendance record

· Must be detail-oriented

· Must have time management skills

· Willingness to learn various tasks and duties as part of facility operation

· Works well in a team environment

· Must be able to follow directions and be self-motivated

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

· High School diploma or GED

· Powder coat experience is preferred for Lebanon

EQUIPMENT USED

This position will use a various saws, select lathes and fork truck.

WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS

This position will be on the manufacturing floor, frequent heavy lifting, continual bending and standing on a concrete floor.
