Position: Driver /Material Handler - Lilburn, GA

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for material handling in warehouse environment and transporting, delivering, and picking up material safely and efficiently
Responsibilities Include:
  • Driving delivery vehicles including but limited to a 26-foot Box Truck or pickup truck
  • Crating, wrapping, banding material in preparation for shipment
  • Receiving and stocking inbound shipments
  • Pulling outbound shipment for transport or use in company facilities
  • Loading materials on trucks
  • Safely securing material to be transported
  • Represent Armor’s core values while interacting with external customers and vendors
  • Additional tasks as assigned by manager
PRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY
This position interacts with the shipping supervisor, warehouse supervisor, plant personnel, as well as external and internal customers on a daily basis.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CDL required
  • Prior delivery experience is preferred
EQUIPMENT USED
This position will be using company vehicles and a forklift.
WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
This position works on the shipping dock, outside and in company vehicles.
