The Sales Finance Analyst role will be a key business partner to our sales teams providing analytical insights, process oversight and reporting. You will proactively support the business with financial analytics for product innovation, pricing/SRM strategy, scenario planning, and more.

What will your day look like?

• Update monthly management reporting, including brand, product and customer-level profitability. Provide detailed support of understanding of variances inclusive of sales volume, trade spend, price volume mix analysis and cost center spending.

• Preparation/compilation of key supplemental reports in conjunction with monthly close

• Support trade accounting processes including monthly trade accruals, analysis, and customer investment modeling

• Serve as direct liaison between FP&A and Business Partners in Sales & Brand Marketing to deliver business objectives & financial targets

• Supports, analyzes, and participates in the preparation and review of the annual plan & forecasts

• Participate in cross-functional projects as needed that help to further efficiencies for the business or function

• Support special projects upon request, financial modeling, strategic initiative assessment, and system maintenance

What you bring to the table:

Education

• B.S. degree in Finance and/or Accounting

Experience and Background

• Previous experience within Finance.

• Affiliations with successful manufacturing and/or consumer product companies.

• Prior history with Oracle ERP / EPM Preferred

• Prior history advancing reporting with BI applications preferred

• Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel).
