Description

As a Senior Project Manager, this individual drives results through strategic thinking, influence, and a strong grasp of Project Management fundamentals. The primary responsibility will be in managing New Product Development (NPD), product line transitions, portfolio expansions, cost savings initiatives, and off-shelf executions. They engage cross-functional partners at all levels to identify and overcome challenges, reapplying expertise to unlock business-building opportunities. Known for leading complex, high-impact projects, they foster continuous improvement across core and upstream operations. What your day will look like:

  • Lead approximately 15 concurrent projects - ranging in scope and higher complexity—from initiation through launch
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration, guide team through structured delivery processes and influence key strategic decisions to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Expected to identify, coordinate, influence, develop and implement process improvements to match rapid growth (volume and complexity) of business ensuring both innovation and operational efficiency across the organization.
  • Lead others through ambiguity to define requirement, scope and deliverables.
  • Monitor project workflow against critical path, risk areas and has defined proactive and corrective steps.
  • Create and contribute to strategy process to establish and maintain improvement in core and upstream business.
  • Apply strategic thinking skills to approach obstacles with a Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Conduct and lead effective cross-functional meetings professionally and effectively with leadership presence demonstrating the ability to collaboratively lead others who do not share the same reporting structure.
  • Can quickly identify potential conflicts and risks that impact current delivery. Create recommendations and elevate independently with a critical thinking mindset.
  • Analyze and present issues in a clear, concise and logical manner.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation while tracking tasks, timelines, risk and cost across multiple initiatives in our project management software program. (PPM 360)
  • Prepare for and lead stage gate reviews on more complex projects.
  • Provide clear status updates and actionable insights to stakeholders to support informed decision making.
  • Provide objective summaries and insights to help guide business decisions.
  • Other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, applied science, or equivalent.
  • 5+ yrs. experience in project management.
  • Microsoft Project or similar PM software experience required.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Suite of software is required.
  • Oracle experience a plus.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.

Specific Skills:

  • Proven track record of launching new products with strong PM skills including scope definition, risk management, critical path and stakeholder management.
  • Action oriented, confident, outgoing, and able to work well under pressure to succeed within a competitive environment.
  • Sound foundation of supply chain operations, including procurement, bill of materials management, production planning and logistics function.
  • Action oriented, thrives under pressure and adapts quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Build strong, collaborative cross-functional relationships to resolve conflicts.
  • Innovates and applies expertise to drive business growth.
  • Makes sound decisions in uncertainty and understands financial fundamentals.
