Summary Description
The HRIS Senior Analyst is responsible for the strategic management, optimization, and support of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This role serves as a key liaison between HR, IT, and other business units to ensure HR systems meet organizational needs and drive operational efficiency. The analyst leads system implementations, upgrades, and integrations, while also providing advanced reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting support.
What will your day look like?
The HRIS Manager plays a pivotal role in Human Resources by overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and strategic use of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). This role ensures data integrity, supports organizational decision-making through analytics, and integrates systems and processes to streamline HR operations. The HRIS Manager will collaborate with IT, Payroll, Human Resources, and Compensation teams to align technology with business needs.
- Oversee the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Manage system upgrades and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with Total Rewards, HR, and IT.- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and scorecards.
- Translate HR data into actionable insights for leadership.
- Support workforce planning and performance management through analytics.- Maintain compliance with data privacy regulations and audit requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate HRIS data.
- Implement controls to ensure secure handling of employee information.
Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR Experience: A thorough understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance is essential.
- Systems Experience: Proficiency with HRIS systems is crucial. Experience with multiple HRIS systems and a comprehensive understanding of their functionality are required.
- Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing projects, particularly those related to system upgrades and implementations, is necessary.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are vital for managing and optimizing HRIS, including identifying and addressing the root causes of issues.
- Leadership and Communication: Proven experience in leading teams and excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with HR and IT departments.
