Summary Description

We are seeking a Cloud Technical Analyst with experience with Oracle cloud technologies, systems integration, and data management. This role is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys solving complex business problems with modern cloud solutions and is eager to expand into the emerging world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on Oracle and integration expertise with curiosity and drive to help our organization leverage AI tools, intelligent automation, and data-driven insights to transform our operations.

Some of the responsibilities include working with integrations within the Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) platform. The ideal candidate will be able to converse in technical language and possess knowledge of manufacturing and distribution in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) environment. A working knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP systems and architecture will be very beneficial.

What will your day look like?

• Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for Oracle integrations, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the Gorilla Glue Oracle Cloud environment.
  • Work with a 3^rd party application managed services team to resolve issues and make improvements/enhancements to the Oracle technology.
• Integration Management:
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle Fusion and other business systems/external entities, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
  • Utilize Oracle integration tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud, and others to manage data flows.

• System Customization:
  • Design and manage the implementation of customizations, extensions, modifications, and interfaces (RICE objects) for the Oracle Fusion Cloud application using OIC, PL/SQL, and other Oracle tools.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Upgrades & Patch Management:
  • Assist in planning and deploying Oracle Fusion quarterly patches, including testing, deployment, and post-upgrade support.

• Documentation & Training:
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
  • Provide technical training and support to users and other IT counterparts as needed.

• Compliance & Security:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all aspects of Oracle SaaS & Cloud Infrastructures (OCI) management.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive business data and maintain the integrity of the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.

What you bring to the table:

Education:

• BS degree in IT/Computer Science or a Related Discipline

Experience / Background:

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical role working in or supporting a cloud based ERP or infrastructure environment (preferably Oracle) Experience in the identification, assessment, and management of risks
• Experience with system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud, middleware tools).
• AI experience especially those related to AI Agent configuration & development, GenAI a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to ask questions, diagnose business needs and translate requirements into solutions
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to expand skills, develop and learn new applications or technology
• Familiar with Microsoft Office / O365 Tools

Technical Skills:

• Experience with Oracle integration tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or similar.
• General understanding of Oracle ERP architecture and database management.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports is a plus
• Familiarity with Oracle’s technical stack, including Java, XML, and web services is a plus
