Summary Description

The team member is responsible for facilitating and overseeing front line Inspectors and/or similar roles in the Quality Department on multiple shifts. Maintain accurate records and notification to all affected parties.

What will your day look like?

• Conducts decisions on disposition of product(s) and escalates to Quality Supervisor as necessary.
• Ensures non-conforming material is quarantined according to procedure. Assists with the resolution of non-conforming material with return to vendor, rework, or disposal.
• Reviews process records for accuracy, completion, and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and/or Gorilla Glue and O’Keeffe’s standards.
• Assists with authoring work instructions or standards of procedures as needed.
• Conducting daily audits.
• Tracks Quality performance and defect data.
• Any other duties assigned by manager.

What will you bring to the table:

• 2-3 years of Manufacturing Quality experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree is a plus.
• Leadership experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Training in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies is desired.
• Attend Gorilla Glue (1) day Train the Trainer class.
