As a Logistics Associate with The Modal Shop, you will follow established procedures, and perform tasks related to packaging and shipment of product to ensure the quality and accuracy of outgoing shipments.

Additional Duties:

  • Ensures the quality and accuracy of outgoing shipments to align with TMS commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction.
  • Preparing released shipments and completing shipping operations, using Syteline/Pacejet software.
  • Preparing accurate and complete Customs paperwork and AES filings.
  • Packaging product for shipment; including boxing and crating of goods.
  • Processing inventory transfer requests as related to shipping demand, following inventory procedures.
  • Arranging for shipping via software (UPS, FedEx, DHL) for small packages.
  • Contacting freight carriers to arrange for pickup of LTL freight.
  • Contacting Customer Account Representative regarding product exceptions, errors in paperwork or other discrepancies that may affect the timely and accurate delivery of product to the customer.
  • Arranging for shipping via software (UPS, FedEx, DHL) for small packages.
  • Ensuring that all shipments are correct and complete prior to performing end-of-day closing tasks.
  • Maintaining stocking levels of all necessary shipping supplies.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of logistics area: trash removal, sweep, sort, and organize areas associated with production and logistics.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Three months of related working experience. Basic computer skills needed.

This role requires the ability to work in an indoor production environment with low to moderate noise level.
