As a Quality Associate with The Modal Shop, you will will support The Modal Shop’s quality program by assisting with the maintenance of accreditations, ensuring accurate certificates, high-quality products, and documentation according to international standards (ISO 17025, ANSI Z540, and ISO 9001). The Quality Associate will assist in maintaining the quality management system (MSQS) compliance and external accreditations. Provides Total Customer Satisfaction by delivering accurate, timely service that upholds product integrity and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Additional Duties:
- Assists with the maintenance and organization of calibration records, certificates, and documentation in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI Z540, ISO 9001).
- Participates as a member of the QC Committee.
- Assist in preparing internal and external audit materials and participate in audit activities as needed.
- Support document control processes, including issuing new revisions and retiring obsolete procedures under guidance.
- Assists in maintaining the quality concern system by tracking quality concerns, nonconformance and corrective actions and escalates findings to the QC Committee.
- Assists with managing and maintaining quality metrics.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and company procedures.
- Coordinates cross-functionally with internal teams related to quality.
- Assists with LMS training documentation and recordkeeping.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One to three years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, calibration or other related role. Has some basic understanding or experience with international standards. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work procedures. Effective written and verbal communications skills.
- Travel Requirement: As needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Associates in a technical or related field preferred.
- Experience: Experience with international standards ISO9001, ISO17025, A2LA preferred. Experience preparing materials for audits preferred. Metrology experience preferred.
