About the Role
We are looking for a driven and dynamic Project Engineer who thrives on problem-solving and continuous improvement. In this role, you will lead process optimizations, increase plant efficiency, reduce manufacturing costs, and spearhead technical innovations that make a real impact.

What You’ll Do
- Champion safety initiatives by applying industrial safety standards and ensuring compliance with company and environmental policies.
- Enhance manufacturing processes by identifying opportunities for yield improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains.
- Lead capital installation projects, from concept to execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with zero safety incidents.
- Design, implement, and optimize processes—whether retrofitting existing systems or developing new ones.
- Reduce waste and improve sustainability in manufacturing processes.
- Drive innovation by investigating, testing, and integrating new equipment and control technologies.
- Collaborate across departments, working with Operations, Maintenance, and Product Line Engineering to deliver impactful solutions.
- Support process automation by troubleshooting and modifying equipment utilizing programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electronic operator interfaces.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, and electrical schematics.
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in chemical processing, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong technical and analytical skills to identify and solve complex engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a detail-oriented approach to project management.
- A proactive mindset with strong time management and the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively.
Preferred
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or DMAIC experience.
- Project management expertise with a track record of leading successful improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with SAP systems for process and operational support.
Work Environment & Benefits
This role involves working in plant, laboratory, and office environments, requiring the use of appropriate safety PPE. Occasional exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise may occur. Flexible work arrangements, including Work from Home opportunities, are available upon discussion.
