The Risk and Compliance Insurance Co-op will work collaboratively with our construction risk management, safety, and operations teams to ensure that day-to-day risk and compliance requirements are in place. This position requires the development of high levels of interpersonal and communication skills, technical skills, problem solving skills, and organizational skills.

Risk and Compliance Insurance Co-ops have the opportunity to:
  • Facilitate the certificate of insurance process by obtaining, verifying, and maintaining certificates of insurance to ensure subcontractor compliance and address any insurance-related questions or issues.
  • Track compliance by job report, on-site contractors report, and other reports related to insurance needs.
  • Learn necessary tools and procedures related to the company’s standard insurance requirements.
  • Plan internal networking sessions throughout their co-op term.
Co-op candidates should be pursuing a degree in insurance, risk management, or other related industry degree. They should have an interest in and a basic understanding of insurance, construction, safety, and process development.

This co-op opportunity is for the Fall 2024 semester (late-August through mid-December 2024).
