Job Description

U.S. Bank is looking for a Talent Consultant (Senior HRBP) to join the Enabling Functions Human Resources Team, supporting Corporate Compliance, Operational risk, Independent Risk Review and Assessment (IRRA). In this role, you’ll provide human capital strategy to several executives – including the Head of IRRA, Chief Operational Risk Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. The person in this role is chartered to understand the unique business strategies of the risk organization and translate that into an effective workforce strategy that enables the business. Formerly referred to as Senior Human Resources Business Partners, the Talent Consultant role has evolved to provide a greater focus on strategy while partnering with our centers of excellence to ensure a continuity in tactical support coverage. With the support of a robust system of centers of excellence (Recruiting, Talent and Culture, DEI, Learning and Development, People Analytics, Employee services and HR Strategy and Operations), Talent consultants can focus on large-scale talent challenges and opportunities.

Talent consultants partner closely with leaders on a wide variety of talent topics, including:

  • Organizational design and effectiveness

  • Internal mobility, strategic talent planning, review, succession planning

  • Talent upskilling/reskilling, training, learning and development

  • Workforce analysis

  • Change management

Location: Hybrid in posted locations. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Typically has 10 more years of human resources, business or managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Ideal candidate has worked in a financial services/banking industry of similar or larger scale and complexity coupled with skills-based talent ecosystem experience

  • Demonstrated skills as a collaborative partner within an HR model that relies on COE partnership

  • Strategic HR partner with experience supporting multiple executives as a trusted advisor

  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, recognize trends and recommend action

  • Ability to recognize needs, solve problems, anticipate issues, and develop employee centric solutions using strong analytical, business and financial acumen

  • Highly skilled interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills, particularly in building relationships with business leaders and presenting to senior leaders

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $125,715.00 - $147,900.00 - $162,690.00
