Job Description



Are you passionate about enabling Workday security that supports new and innovative experiences? If so, we’d love to talk with you! We are looking for an experienced Workday Security Administrator with a flexible and nimble working style to join our agile delivery team focused on our HR customers.

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Overall Security architecture and governance across the Workday platform (HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking and Recruiting, Talent and performance

  • Configuration and maintenance of various security groups such as role-based, user-based, segmented, intersection, aggregation, and organization memberships

  • Role will also interact with other HR systems – Phenom, ServiceNow, EdCast

  • Supporting HR Product Teams by developing, configuring, and maintaining security policies for domains, business processes, dashboards, and reports

  • Supporting Workday Release preparation and the enablement of new features

  • Troubleshooting and resolving user access issues

  • Responding to audit requests and security-based inquiries

  • Defining security governance and controls based on data privacy and security best practices

  • Providing guidance and recommendations on projects, activities, enhancement requests, break fixes, etc.

  • Identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and improvements to security design

  • Providing security design recommendations to business partners and senior leaders

  • Providing oversight by auditing our security environment

Location: Role will be hybrid in one of the posted locations. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience

  • Five to 10 years of relevant technical experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Hands on Workday Security configuration experience including domains, BP security policies, creating security groups and authentication policies

  • 3-5 years of experience in Workday security administration

  • Familiarity with Workday Business Process design

  • Advanced Workday report writing skills

  • An Agile mindset with a drive toward delivering value through continuous improvements aligned to business needs

  • Comfortable communicating in all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $112,880.00 - $132,800.00 - $146,080.00
