Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented individual to join the Corporate Treasury Capital Management team, which is responsible for managing, forecasting, and reporting the capital adequacy of U.S. Bancorp and its related subsidiaries in normal operating conditions as well as under stress. The stress tests have been designed by the Federal Reserve to assess capital adequacy of financial institutions under different economic stress scenarios. This role will provide support to the Capital Forecast Manager by assisting with the monthly Capital forecast process as well as the annual stress test and corresponding reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in developing the monthly Capital forecast process and annual Capital stress test
Partner with multiple teams and business lines for financial analysis, capital forecasting, and capital stress testing
Assist with documentation and procedures updates for the annual stress test
Develop and maintain spreadsheets for capital forecasting and financial analysis, in accordance with regulatory requirements
Prepare forecast and variance reporting for all levels of Capital Management
Provide financial analysis related to forecasting and stress test
Develop proforma financial reporting for review by senior management
Ability to analyze data to identify and communicate capital trends
Communication is done both verbally and through creation of various reports to illustrate key information
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Five or more years of related experience in Treasury, Finance, or Accounting
Preferred Skills/Experience
Advanced knowledge of financial analysis techniques
Considerable knowledge of forecasting
Strong mathematical, analytical, and data management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase is a plus
Process improvement experience with various spreadsheets and reporting
Ability to prioritize deadlines while maintaining a high attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with multiple teams and business lines
Knowledge of regulatory requirements is a plus

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
