Job Description

Verifies, processes, and documents information related to all aspects of standard and non-standard collateral and loan documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy. Identifies and files credit and collateral documentation, including stocks, bonds, certificates of deposit, property titles, etc. Reviews insurance coverages to ensure adequate coverage and proper loss payee and additional named insured endorsements. Releases collateral when loan is satisfied or no longer needed.

This role is hybrid anywhere within the west region of the U.S. Bank footprint. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at a U.S. Bank location, while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Five or more years of clerical and/or lending operations experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience working with portfolio management task within business banking

  • Experience using nCino

  • Thorough knowledge of lending operations, loan processing, documentation requirements and credit policies and procedures

  • Well-developed records management and clerical skills

  • Excellent customer service/relations skills

  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret information

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
