Job Description
PFM Asset Management LLC’s Accounting Group is seeking an Analyst to be based in our Harrisburg, PA office.
The position is responsible for all daily accounting functions of individual fixed income portfolios. This will require regular coordination with trading operations, client service team, custodian banks and auditors.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items with custodian banks
- Daily trade input
- Perform data integrity checks
- New account set up & maintenance
- Assisting clients and client managers with portfolio inquiries.
- Daily & monthly accounting software processing
- Preliminary client statement reviews
- Assist with portfolio performance calculations
- Preparation of custom client reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting or economics
- Prior experience with accounting for fixed income investments, cash and securities reconciliations, bond math calculations, and financial statement preparation are pluses but not required. Entry-level candidates with relevant coursework and internship experience will be considered.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collectively as part of a team
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills
- Experience with MS Excel & MS Access
- Investment-oriented software a plus
- FIS/InvestOne experience a plus
- Portia/Sylvan experience a plus

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
