Job Description
.
The position will own the Value Realization function for U.S. Bank's Tech Transformation journey. We are seeking a senior leader with broad-based technology skills, strategic vision to drive Value Realization from our multi-year Technology Transformation initiatives. This position reports to Head of Cloud Enablement.
This leader will influence and support our CIO teams to increase awareness and adoption of value levers, both, technical and financial. A successful candidate will ideate and develop a robust value realization roadmap for Tech Transformation across our stakeholders.
The leader will:
- Shape the strategy for key priority initiatives for Value Realization through Tech Transformation lifecycle (adoption of Cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and Product Model).
- Execute the Strategy: Value Confirmation, Commitment, Tracking & Reporting.
- Establish value tracking, building and maintaining KPI dashboards. Develop and maintain key metrics around the Value Realization drivers.
- Support with financial modeling and new business case model development as necessary.
- Create clear and engaging communication content to demonstrate the value of the transformation initiatives. Conduct root cause analysis of deviations to our business case and work with Business Lines and Value Driver teams to develop mitigation plans.
- Scout externally to provide recommendations to Senior Executives of new ways to maximize value realization (such as AI-enabled developer).
- Pilot new business value focused initiatives with customers by collaborating with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Transformation Program Office and FinOps.
- Author thought leadership content on Tech Transformation benefits using your functional knowledge. Enable and influence internal and external resources to improve their effectiveness and efficiencies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- 10+ years of professional experience in Technology function.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 5 year experience in financial analysis, value engineering, or value advisory.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to translate that into key messages for suitable audiences (making the complex simple).
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure or similar.
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Working understanding of business architecture, process architecture and technical architecture.
- Experience driving change management throughout strategic initiatives.
- A deep understanding of technology in both the business context and enterprise CIO/CTO context.
- Strong enterprise stakeholder management tools and skills.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
