Job Description

U.S. Bank’s Business Banking Marketing Office is seeking a Marketing professional with proven leadership experience to create best-in-class digital experiences that enable client growth, drive visibility for the Business Banking segment, and facilitate content engagement.

This individual leads and optimizes digital experiences that reinforce our brand, communicates the value delivered via our products and services, facilitates lead generation, and drives account growth. Leading a team of marketing professionals, you will work collaboratively across a matrixed organization to shape the future of a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem. This is an experienced position requiring strong leadership/management, marketing technology, and project management skills.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Lead the strategy, development, and performance of the website’s marketing funnel.

  • Cultivate partnerships within the product and sales organizations to uncover client needs, and develop digital journeys that minimize friction, encourage engagement, and facilitate account growth for business owners large and small.

  • Partner with analytics to develop the tools and reporting necessary to uncover patterns and behaviors that can be used to optimize digital journeys and drive sustained growth.

  • Partner with digital marketing and content teams to ensure experiences are seamless from initial exposure through to conversion.

  • Recruit, manage and develop a team of high-performing marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with product teams, developers, and technology to ensure digital environments properly reflect the line of business strategy.

  • Devise test and learn strategies to fuel performance marketing and lead generation.

  • Lead efforts to drive visibility and account growth via organic search.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of related experience leading data-driven digital experience in a fast-paced agile environment.

  • Expert in design, research and web analysis

  • Demonstrated success building, leading, challenging and coaching a team of high-performing digital experience marketers, designers, UX/UI professionals, and developers.

  • Consistent track record for delivering growth via lead generation, organic search optimization and online account generation.

  • Deep knowledge of digital solutions such as web content management systems, marketing automation, web analytics, and tag management systems

  • Exceptional strategic and analytical problem solving and storyboarding skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of CRM and lead generation strategies

  • Highly fungible and able to easily adapt to shifting priorities without disruption.

  • Advanced knowledge of assigned geographical area, competitive market, banking operations, and U.S. Bancorp's products and services

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and team building skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Agility in thinking and delivery, along with proven ability to take direction in support of company goals

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and assignments that are completed on time and on budget

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages

  • MBA or equivalent markers of high achievement are a plus

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $155,295.00 - $182,700.00 - $200,970.00Job postings typically remain open for approximately 20 days of the posting date listed above, however the job posting may be closed earlier should it be determined the position is no longer required due to business need.
