Job Description

This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
    Execute manual testing according to test plans, identify discrepancies and clearly document defects, errors, interoperability flaws, and other issues within proprietary software applications.

  • Demonstrate a methodical, detail-oriented, and thorough approach to all assignments while adhering to defined timelines.

  • Perform end-to-end EMV certifications of payment systems, analyze certification test results at technical detailed level (EMV tags,Pinpad modes, Contact/Contactless configurations etc) to pinpoint source of compliance issues)

  • May handle certification testing for new and emerging products and services in the payments industry

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Software Testing concepts like positive/negative scenarios. Understanding of

  • QA testing web and/or mobile applications Extensive hands on experience as

  • API testing tools like Rest-assured, Postman, ReadyAPI or similar. Knowledge of

  • Knowledge of deploying API tests in a CI/CD environment like Jenkins or similar.

  • Test automations tool such as : ReadyAPI, SoapUI, Rest Assured, Postman Experience with

  • Experience in automating build and deployment processes

  • Experience using JIRA or similar bug tracking systems

  • Manual testing - Proficiency in various types of testing (functional, non-functional) and testing frameworks.

  • knowledge and experience. SQLStrong

  • Expertise in the test life cycle, including planning, designing, case creation/maintenance, automation, execution, and reporting.

  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

  • Experience with performance testing would be advantageous.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $95,285.00 - $112,100.00 - $123,310.00Job postings typically remain open for approximately 20 days of the posting date listed above, however the job posting may be closed earlier should it be determined the position is no longer required due to business need.
