Job Description
Reporting to the Head of National Diverse Markets & Affordable Lending, this leader will manage a team of dedicated Community Impact Managers across the bank’s national footprint while also helping to lead the development and execution of business line growth strategies in alignment and in partnership with local mortgage sales leaders, internal teams, and community partners.
Primary responsibilities
- Oversees and is ultimately responsible for a team of Community Impact Managers that are tasked with the execution of efforts to advance homeownership opportunities within all markets including diverse markets
- Provides coaching and development to team that grows capacity in well executed and impactful business development efforts
- Build pipeline of opportunities that enable further business line growth
- Manage key relationships with internal and external partners to drive new opportunities
- Engage with partners as necessary to review performance and drive strategic objectives
- Build and support reporting requirements to ensure business development efforts are delivering as needed.
- Analyze data to drive strategy enhancements and inform management decisions
- Manage performance to ensure pipeline impact for mortgage sales teams
Basic Requirements
Master's degree, or equivalent work experience - 10 or more years of experience in project management activities
SKILLS and Preferred qualifications
- 5 + years of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) mortgage lending experience OR related relationship/outreach experience
- Strategic, curious, action-oriented leader who can balance moving quickly with an eye on long-term objectives
- Outstanding customer service, event management, and problem resolution skills
- Advanced knowledge of departmental and bank products and services
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116,280.00 - $136,800.00 - $150,480.00Job postings typically remain open for approximately 20 days of the posting date listed above, however the job posting may be closed earlier should it be determined the position is no longer required due to business need.
