Job Description
Overview
The Operations Risk Share Services Strategic Workflow and Analytics Team (SWAT) has a focus on completing code development for report requests while providing insight and analytical assistance for independently validating data. This position supports the SWAT team by providing independent populations to test, and validation of data obtained from business line contacts including:
• Generate Independent Population Reports: The analyst ensures accurate data is obtained to develop population queries, provide population workbooks and other various requests.
• Data Validation: As needed, the analyst performs validation of data obtained externally and provides feedback on accuracy of testing population and Ad Hoc reports gathered from business lines.
• General Data Support: The analyst also may be asked to perform data mining, waterfall-based reporting, Excel assistance, systems assistance, and other data needs on an Ad Hoc basis.
Other duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Maintain awareness of Bank, regulatory, and industry changes and trends
• Responsibilities may also include contributing to projects or project implementation within the Shared Services team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, Geo-spatial tools, and others to perform analysis and interpret data,
• Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling,
• Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets,
• Demonstrated project management skills,
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skill
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00Job postings typically remain open for approximately 20 days of the posting date listed above, however the job posting may be closed earlier should it be determined the position is no longer required due to business need.
