Job Description
The Marketing Analytics and Technology team is an enabling function supporting the Business Unit Marketing and Enterprise Analytics & Customer Experience teams (EACX) and thereby the Chief Product Officers/Line of Business, responsible for measuring, assessing and articulating the efficacy of our marketing strategies to help drive growth and/or efficiency opportunities across the bank. With sister teams participating alongside the marketing lifecycle of the various segments, the Marketing Analytics Product Owner team is enabling those analysts with the data, tools, frameworks and centralized reporting they need to generate insights and report on performance. In addition, this team supports horizontal program/channel level insights and centralized experimentation strategy and governance.
The Marketing Analytics Reporting Lead is a key leader with the Marketing Analytics Product Owner team. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who is passionate about Agile ways of working, fosters a positive team atmosphere, welcomes innovation, supports the fail-fast philosophy, and drives for results. They should have a product mindset that puts focus on the customer and delivering value, and can motivate and actively support a team with a long delivery roadmap. They must feel confident in their technical and analytical skills, their ability to develop a product roadmap well into the future, their ability to understand the business goals/needs and translating those into delivering data driven insights that lead to actionable recommendations. This role requires technical skills that drive the team towards efficiency, automation and innovation; and realization of an offshoring talent model to burst on delivery as needed. The applicant will feel at ease querying databases, integrating data from multiple/disparate sources, and developing dashboards/tools that surface actionable insights for users.
Leader responsibilities:
Aligns to all KPI/data definitions for marketing analytics space
Liaisons with EACX team to ensure alignment on all reporting
Builds and maintains all last-touch attribution (LTA) reporting tools (paid/owned channels) and any additional reporting needed to support the Marketing Measurement space
Provides owned channel program and channel level insights to help drive horizontal optimizations
Drives marketing measurement innovation, including but not limited to: establishing hardened/last touch reporting on direct mail channel, unearthing ways to improve automation, driving consistency and improvement in dashboard UX, AI/genAI driven insight generation
Defines and implements an offshore contractor strategy to meet the needs of the team
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
Eight or more years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
Preferred Qualifications
8 to 10 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data architecture, dashboarding, and data product ownership; applicant should feel at ease querying databases, integrating data from multiple/disparate sources, and developing dashboards/tools that surface actionable insights for users.
5+ years of hands-on experience and knowledge leveraging raw sitecat (clickstream)
2+ years leading a team of data analysts, engineers, and/or developers
Expert user of analytics data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Hands-on experience with datasets produced from various marketing tactics including direct mail, email, programmatic/direct buy display, social media, affiliate marketing, SEO/SEM, as well as owned channel advertising on digital properties via raw sitecat data
Understanding of various marketing measurement methodologies including adtech platform reporting, last touch attribution and Marketing Mix Modeling
Experience in financial services with knowledge of products, customers, transaction and interaction data, including source systems
Evidence of strong data management practices/leadership including documenting calculations, code, processes to validate/test data, and remediate data quality issues.
Experience leveraging tools for basic last mile ETL and data wrangling and querying including SQL, SAS, R, Python, Excel, Alteryx, Hadoop, etc.; in addition expertise in dashboarding via data visualization tools such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Tableau or Power BI
Desire to innovative within the reporting space to drive efficiency in operations.
Demonstrated project management and organization skills
Impeccable attention to detail, while being comfortable with data ambiguity
Ability to work and thrive in collaborative work environment as well as independently to drive results
Team leadership and people development experience that ensures high team satisfaction, development and effective utilization of offshore talent.
Location Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $129,455.00 - $152,300.00 - $167,530.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
