U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer – Full Stack in Atlanta, Georgia.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer - Full Stack will design, test, develop, operate and maintain software products. Essential responsibilities include: take full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code; maintain, fix, update and integrate features in Android Register app; translate original version of apps from Java code to Kotlin code; include MVVM with data binding and live data to enhance user experience; coordinate with UI/UX specialist to design user experiences for applications; support multiple screen resolutions to provide resizing across multiple devices; track project progress and defects using Agile methodology; use Jetpack and support libraries for maximum compatibility with prior Android versions; apply unit testing for different base code using Mockito and MockK; create force upgrade features to update devices as required by product; code presentations to support Android devices; perform code reviews on merge request open in GitLab; resolve merge conflicts in Gitlab; provide Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) jobs to RQA, Dev Ops, and QA; integrate different types of hardware such as printers, scanners and card readers this using SDKs provided by vendors; integrate physical devices such as ELO hardware, Poynt hardware, Moby hardware, and New Land hardware; create documentation for app flows such as login flow, loyalty flow, credit and debit payment flow; maintain, fix, update and integrate features in debit and credit payment flows; maintain, fix, update and integrate features in loyalty process flow; created Loyalty API documentation for use of developer teams; review and approve documentation created by developer peers such as app flows and APIs; and create documentation on how to set existing hardware as card readers, printer, and Android devices. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple Positions.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Industrial Management plus 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, Android Developer, or related.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 5 years of experience with: Android Framework; Git; GitLab; Java; Kotlin; REST Web Services; Json; Retrofit; Design Patterns; Architectural Patterns; SOLID Principles; XML; Jira; Slack; and Agile. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $104,074.00 - $144,400.
