U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Digital Business Automation Engineer (IBM BAW) (multiple positions) in Cincinnati, OH

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, operate and maintain software products using IBM BAW.
  • Maintain workflows for the Bank’s automated investment software applications.
  • Facilitate the migration of large amounts of data from IBM BAW applications to a Microsoft Azure cloud.
  • Research Business Process Management (BPM) programs, and run comparative analyses of various factors including functionalities, feasibilities, and costs to help determine which programs best meet business requirements.
  • Ensure all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and implement changes as necessary to ensure quality standards are met.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a Software Developer, or related, occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:


Must include 2 years of experience with each of the following:

(1) Writing code and building solutions as per requirements in development and maintenance projects in accordance with coding standards using IBM BAW 19.x and IBM BPM 8.6;

(2) IBM BAW, IBM BPM, IBM Blueworks Live, IBM ODM (Operational Decision Manager), IIB, and Middleware technologies of IBM;

(3) Spark UI toolkit, Webservices (SOAP and REST), Putty, WinSCP, and HP Quality Center;

(4) Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Test Manager 2017;

(5) SQL Developer, SOAP UI, Core JAVA, JavaScript, JQuery, and AJAX; and

(6) Agile Methodology.

Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $130,541 - $164,100. (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
