Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Lead Software Engineer in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Essential Responsibilities:

Job Duties: The Lead Software Engineer will design and develop web portals that can be used by various applications as a single platform. Define target cloud architecture for application deployment and scale for application operations on U.S. Bank’s private and public cloud infrastructure. Analyze, design, develop and maintain applications supporting multiple business groups in Global Fund Services, Global Corporate Trust and Corporate & Commercial units. Enhance existing applications to support web interface using .NET core framework. Conduct requirement and design walkthroughs, internal and external code reviews and other quality related procedures. Participate in scrum meetings to provide status and share feedback as part of end-to-end systems design and architecture. Evaluate and maintain project designs and related technical documentation. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of the worksite location. Multiple Positions.

Basic Qualifications:

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 5 years of experience as a Web Developer, Software Engineer or related.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 5 years of experience with: (a) designing and developing web user interface applications using .NET under Visual Studio; (b) querying databases using SQL Server; (c) designing Web APIs using REST; (d) tracking and resolving defects using JIRA; (e) developing web applications for cloud integration; and (f) Scripting in the following: C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, AngularJS, HTML, CSS. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of the worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $141,898 - $196,100.
