Job Description

As part of Payment Services, the Integrated Card Systems (ICS) team partners with the Payments Consumer and Small Business, Business Team, a market leader in Credit Card Issuance. The ICS System is the core processing platform for Consumer and Small Business credit card accounts, with the capability to offer a variety of Products (Bank Brand, CoBrand, Elan) and Networks (Visa, MC and AMEX). The ICS team continues to grow and expand to support a strong Business Team and is looking for a strong and passionate Program Manager to join the team.

What you will do:
As a Program Manager, you will be leading program and technical product managers, both full-time employees and contractors (onshore and offshore). You will partner with key stakeholders and provide support to meet established function, quality, cost, and schedule goals and objectives for programs/projects. The ideal candidate will have a technical mindset and have experience in managing programs of work and collaborating with key stakeholders on programs and working with cross-functional teams. Key skills include the ability to bridge the gap between engineering and business and understand both the technical aspects of a product and the strategic goals of the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • At least 10 years experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.


Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Extensive experience in : System development life cycle, Document management

  • Subject matter expert in :Project control and reporting, IT project management, Project planning and organization, MS Project

  • Experience of developing and maintaining proactive relationships at a manager and executive level within a matrixed organizational structure

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and compelling messages for various audiences

Location Expectations

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $133,365.00 - $156,900.00 - $172,590.00
