Job Description
The organization's risk management structure is designed to promote effective governance and risk management that is systematic, transparent, credible, timely, and verifiable through clear delineation and execution of key roles and responsibilities. Its goal is to manage risks that may impact the company, including credit, financial, liquidity, market, operational, reputational, strategic, and other risks as appropriate. The Senior Business Risk Manager will partner with Senior to Executive Leaders in their assigned Line of Business, Business Risk Consultants, Business Risk Managers and other Senior Business Risk Managers to, depending on the function, oversee the successful creation, implementation, and maintenance of an effective risk management framework. May be accountable for projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. May be accountable to the identification of gaps and drive solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. May be accountable to the active identification, response and/or escalation of risks as appropriate. May be accountable to the policies and procedures to maximize profit potential and minimize regulatory exposure. May be accountable to an effective partnership between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense.
- Provides risk oversight for ATM Banking and Cash Management Services
- Manages a team of ~20 risk and compliance professionals
- Reports to the business unit manager for Cash Management Services
- Consults with CBB Risk
- Promotes ATM Risk Management with ATM Banking and TOS leadership teams
- Manages Ops Loss and CRA Reporting
- Acts as an advisor to business unit management
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 15 or more years of applicable experience
- Applicable certifications
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Expert understanding of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Expert understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
- Proven ability to build and manage a team of business risk professionals who have credibility and work directly with business line management
- Expert knowledge of business risk competencies
- Strong skills in leadership and management of process, projects and people
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Advanced relationship and negotiation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, planning and implementation skills
- Effective skills at managing stressful situations
- Proficient computer navigation skills, particularly word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and presentations

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $149,515.00 - $175,900.00 - $193,490.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
