Job Description
The Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) team within U.S. Bank Corporate Treasury is responsible for the development, implementation, and enhancement of methodologies used to allocate funding costs and benefits across the Bank’s full balance sheet and lines of business. The team plays a critical role in optimizing balance sheet management and supporting effective pricing decisions. It drives profitable growth by aligning pricing with economic and regulatory factors. We are seeking a growth-oriented professional to join the team and help elevate the transparency, accuracy, and strategic value of our FTP framework through process improvement, technical expertise, and effective communication.
The successful candidate will have:
Strong technical writing abilities and communication skills, with an ability to translate complex financial concepts and analytical results into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated proficiency in SQL coding to extract and analyze large datasets from multiple sources
A process improvement mindset with a track record of identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and controls within reporting and analytical workflows
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Essbase, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools
Familiarity with banking products and core financial concepts such as fixed vs floating interest rates, amortization, and internal rate of return
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with business partners, technology teams, and senior management
A growth mindset, adaptability, and a drive for continuous learning and professional development
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
Two or more years of relevant work experience in banking, finance, or a related analytical field
Preferred Skills/Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill and present detailed analysis in a clear and concise manner
Experience using SQL or similar applications working with large and unstructured datasets
Demonstrated process improvement experience, including automation or workflow enhancement initiatives
Proficiency with MS Excel, including VBA and Essbase
Understanding of banking products, financial markets, and core FTP principles
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,515.00 - $95,900.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
