U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Lead Software Engineer – Agile & DevOps in Jacksonville, FL.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Lead Software Engineer – Agile & DevOps will configure, develop, and maintain backlog, source control, artifact management, and roadmap capabilities – including Jira, Artifactory, GitLab, Mural, and Dragonboat. The position will: build resilient systems at a scale of 15,000+ users; create both high level and detailed technical designs, conduct technical reviews and define solution requirements and technical implementation approaches; use Agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles; and create new services and integrations working closely with the engineering enablement and agile delivery teams. The Lead Systems Engineer – Agile & DevOps embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank's technology transformation. Position may allow work from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple Positions
Basic Qualifications:
Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a technical lead, systems engineer, or related.
Required Skills/Experience:
Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a technical lead, systems engineer, or related. Must possess 5 years of experience with all of the following skills: (a) creating projects, custom fields, design workflow schemes, screen schemes, permission schemes and field configuration schemes in JIRA; (b) writing Groovy Scripts to automate the daily task and administrator for JIRA; (c) managing JIRA on Linux Machine, including log tracing and restarting; (d) migrating data from JIRA cloud and Confluence Cloud to JIRA and Confluence server; (e) monitoring JIRA & Confluence performance using different monitoring tools; (f) integrating JIRA with different applications using Webhook; (g) all aspects of application and system administration, including troubleshooting user issues, configuring user accounts, workflows, custom fields, dashboards, and reports; (h) assisting with system maintenance and upgrades within a Linux environment; (i) writing SQL scripts to export data from JIRA and create reporting out of it; and (j) Utilizing all of the following: Java, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Aha, Shell Script, Linux, Windows, Dynatrace, and Kibana. Position may allow work from home within commuting distance of worksite location. May be subject to background checks and other regulatory requirements relevant to our industry and operations.
