Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Impact Finance Sr. Project Manager/Underwriter (multiple positions) in Denver, CO.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate financial results prepared by US Bank customers and compare to budgeted expectations.
  • Ensure borrower credit quality has not deteriorated.
  • Analyze financial statements and related reporting provided by customers, ensuring financial statements conform with regulatory requirements and covenant obligations under financing agreements are not breached.
  • Evaluate financial models and projections of renewable energy projects under consideration for US Bank debt financing.
  • Draft financial risk analyses used in internal credit application memorandums.
  • Build and use Microsoft Excel financial models to assess renewable energy projects’ cashflow projections and operating budget.
  • Ensure third party data sources are accurately reflected and key financial figures are presented correctly.
  • Work with the Environmental Finance team to implement internal auditor recommendations processes, procedures, and team tools to ensure business line compliance with US financial institution laws and regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 3 years in a Financial Analyst, or related, occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must include 3 years of experience with each of the following:

Regulatory and company risk analysis; Construction finance, legal documentation and requirements, and accounting. Accounting skills, including, budgeting, financial statement preparation and analysis, compliance, and data analysis and audit recommendation implementation; Analyzing Company and Project credit worthiness through assessment of financial statements, credit ratios, and budgets and projections; Verification of Company and Project prepared financial reporting and financial covenant compliance under Financing Agreements; and Microsoft Excel for Financial Modeling.

Teams may work from home and the office. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $122,117 - $204,800 (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP #INDdni #IND-DNP).
