Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Software Engineer (multiple positions) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Code and deploy Data Publishing (DP) framework for data streaming from legacy Main Frame (MF) to Data on the Edge (DOE).
• Develop generic distributed DP framework for credit card system spend controls and profile management domains.
• Participate in production systems maintenance for almost zero down time.
• Participate in adapting next generation technologies like AI & ML for bank credit card fraud detection systems.
• Participate in enterprise level designs for interface between Bank CC system and Vendor systems.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering, followed by 5 years in a progressively responsible Software Developer, or related, occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must include 5 years of experience with each of the following:

Project management or leadership; Agile development; Kafka and Spring Boot; Docker and Kubernetes; Apache Spark, and Scala programming; JIRA, Confluence, Visio, IntelliJ, and VS code; Java, JavaScript, JSP, and Python; and Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, and PL/SQL.
