Job Description

Product Managers at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed in driving product planning, visioning, development, management, and customer experience to deliver on our human plus digital product strategy and staying one step ahead of evolving economic, technological, and customer needs. Pulls from market and competitive insights, customer needs, and internal business priorities to create the product vision (target customer segments, markets, channels, go to market approach, and value propositions). Aligns this strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product roadmap, investment areas and success measures.

U.S. Bank is seeking a Product Manager within the talech team to manage its data connections with other U.S. Bank platforms. talech is U.S. Bank's Point of Sale solution for small businesses, and it works closely with other organizations such as payments processing and business banking. To operate efficiently and create seamless customer servicing experiences, talech needs to share data with these other organizations. In this role, you'll manage how we sync talech operational data and expand the use cases of our platform to empower a better customer experience.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a cross-functional scrum team that includes design, engineering, compliance, and QA. Some engineering team members will be offshore.
  • Build a vision and roadmap by assessing business needs and priorities across the organization.
  • Determine how to measure success for key initiatives. Identify and track KPIs to show positive business impact.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business owners to define customer-focused needs; collaborate with development teams to identify solutions and timelines.
  • Define, manage, and prioritize user stories to meet committed timelines. Manage the scrum team’s backlog and plan quarterly goals based on strategic priorities and stakeholder input.
  • Communicate progress on key initiatives. Identify risks and dependencies, communicate updates, and negotiate solutions to challenges.
  • Manage relationships with key business and technology stakeholders.


Minimum Qualifications/Skills

  • Product Management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience with Kafka event streams, APIs, or webhooks
  • Previous experience using financial models to estimate business impact
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Proficient product management experience within technology driven organizations working in agile/scrum teams
  • Effective presentation, verbal and written communication skills; ability to present facts and ideas in a clear, concise, and convincing manner to senior stakeholders
  • Proven relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Occasional (10% or less) travel required

Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $132,260.00 - $155,600.00
