Job Description

SUMMARY

The Business Technology Analyst will serve as a key liaison between carriers and internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient onboarding of carrier invoices into Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. This role requires a deep understanding of data standards, file formats, and compliance requirements to support seamless integration and billing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborate with carriers to onboard invoices into EDI platforms, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange.

- Validate carrier data presentation against published U.S. Bank transaction standards and Shipper billing guides.

- Provide guidance and support to carriers for compliance with established data formatting and transmission requirements.

- Work with multiple data formats, including ASC X12, XML, JSON, comma-delimited, and fixed-length files.

- Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to resolve integration issues and maintain data integrity.

- Utilize SQL for basic data queries and validation tasks.

- Leverage ServiceNow for workflow management, issue tracking, and documentation.

- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve onboarding processes and enhance system efficiency.

- Ensure data processing continuity and system health by participating in the on-call rotation for production support and code deployments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Five or more years of direct experience (with project lead responsibilities) or eight or more years of related experience.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Strong knowledge of data formats: ASC X12, XML, JSON, CSV, and fixed-length files.

- Basic proficiency in SQL for data validation and reporting.

- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Experience with carrier invoicing and transportation billing processes.

- Understanding of U.S. Bank transaction standards and shipper billing guides.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

This position offers a hybrid/flexible schedule which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $86,530.00 - $101,800.00
