Job Description

As part of a creation of a new Custody Regulatory Assurance Team we are looking to hire an experienced Analyst in our Cherrywood Office.

This role supports the EU Custody team through high quality analysis, regulatory compliance monitoring, risk focused Insights and operational control activities across various regulations and Compliance/Business Line requests – CASS, CAR, MiFID etc.

The role contributes to risk identification, reporting and compliance by producing accurate reconciliations, Calculations, oversight and audit readiness in line with regulatory expectations and internal frameworks. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Risk, Compliance and Finance teams to ensure timely, accurate and compliant regulatory deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily reconciliations and regulatory calculations
  • Prepare and review monthly CAR regulatory reporting
  • Complete MCAR Submissions and monthly evaluations
  • Produce trailer fee reporting and manage CAMP related activities required.
  • Support Internal and External audits and participate in regulatory working groups.
  • Prepare and submit CMAR and monthly ISEM reporting.
  • Manage CASS Resolution Pack (CASS RP) Documentation
  • Participate in CASS Working groups and regulatory initiatives.
  • Provide operational support for MiFID regulatory requirements and prepare materials and analysis for Quarterly governance meetings.
  • Prepare and review monthly regulatory reporting (OSII and Regulatory Reporting)
  • Produce Monthly PAD Register, RAS Metrics, Wire reporting, and DGS Reporting
  • Maintain trackers, Dashboards, KPI’s in line with agreed methodologies
  • Contribute to regulatory submissions and internal reporting packs.
  • Support Internal and external audit and assurance activities by providing traceable data and evidence and completing any remediations.
  • Support CP-140 and DORA Regulatory requirements.
  • Handle Error and complaints inventory.
  • Complete and maintain CAT Reviews for the Custody Team.
  • Support Quarterly ECRA reviews and updates.
  • Complete and manage BCIQ’s and PRISM’s .
  • Vault handling and Vault audits.
  • Due Diligence and KYC Support
  • Support ongoing regulatory change, governance, and control enhancements.

Decision‑Making Authority

  • Determines analytical approaches and data validation methods within defined frameworks.
  • Prioritises tasks within assigned workstreams to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Escalates regulatory interpretation issues, methodology changes, and material risks

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Custody, Fund Services or regulated financial operations desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of CAR, CASS and/or MiFID regulations desirable.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Working knowledge risk and controls, regulatory expectations, and reporting frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy, controls and auditability.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Relationship skills to develop both internal and external relationships.

    Location expectations

    This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week. Cherrywood Office / South Dublin.
