Technical Senior Product Managers at U.S. Bank oversee the strategic product management for an assigned technical product line(s) in support of the Enterprise organization’s goals and market needs. Engages with key stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize features; ensures delivery of marketable capabilities for all U.S. Bank engineering teams while collaborating with agile teams.
As a Technical Senior Product Manager, you will:
- Align the strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape outcome-based product roadmap, product risk, investment areas and success measures
- Integrate technical product outcomes to aligned Enterprise and Portfolio objectives
- Drive product development with ownership of backlog and actively engage cross-functional stakeholders to enable faster speed to market
- Manage across Enterprise users to define and deliver product performance goals (e.g., outcomes, customer experience, etc.)
- Own all engagement for assigned technical portfolio regarding the SDLC, including adoption and collaboration
- Develop, analyze, monitor, and report on performance metrics to identify key trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Leverage OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to drive roadmap priorities
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Expertise on the interdependence of product systems and the ability to design solutions aligned to business outcomes and performance metrics
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand product architecture and technology trade-offs
- Experience defining customer needs using product discovery practices (e.g., personas, journey mapping, product charters)
- Proven ability to collaborate with engineering teams to execute product vision and roadmap
- Preferred skills: product strategy, product discovery, agile delivery, enterprise technical alignment, and performance optimization
- Experience working within DevSecOps environments, CI/CD pipelines, or platform engineering ecosystems is highly desired

About the team/product(s):
The SDLC Product team defines and delivers the enterprise capabilities that govern how software is built, tested, and deployed across U.S. Bank. Operating at the center of the software delivery lifecycle, the team enables consistent, compliant, and scalable practices across a large volume of application changes.
This role owns product strategy and execution for a core SDLC governance platform used by development teams to evidence, document, and obtain approvals for code changes from development through production.
What this product does:
- Ensures required controls (design documentation, testing validation, code reviews, approvals) are captured and enforced
- Provides a centralized system for managing SDLC policy and governance requirements
- Supports audit and risk-based validation of production changes
What you’ll lead:
- Continued evolution of the platform following its migration to ServiceNow
- Modernization of SDLC workflows to improve usability, scalability, and compliance
- Expansion of automation across the DevSecOps lifecycle, including integration with CI/CD pipelines to capture evidence seamlessly
How you’ll work:
- Partner with engineering, platform, and architecture teams to define and deliver capabilities
- Collaborate with risk, governance, and audit partners to align on control requirements and validation processes
- Influence how software delivery practices are implemented across a large, complex enterprise

Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Experience operating as a senior product manager within Agile SDLC environments, delivering software products at scale
- A strong technical foundation, with prior experience in engineering, platform, or other hands-on technical roles that enable effective partnership with development teams
- Experience operating within technology governance frameworks and partnering with Security/Compliance to implement pragmatic guardrails for SDLC and tool usage
- Familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, PCI) and secure SDLC practices
- Ability to translate complex technical and regulatory requirements into clear product requirements, workflows, and scalable solutions
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $149,515.00 - $175,900.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
