IT Manager, Systems Operations

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Systems Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our IT systems and end points. You will be responsible for ensuring application and system availability, performance, and security while leading a team of IT professionals. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and operational efficiency.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of IT systems, servers, and end points.
• Ensure reliable and efficient Citrix application delivery and endpoint experience.
• Responsible for digital experience across our applications and endpoints.
• Administer and maintain Active Directory, Azure AD, and related identity systems.
• Lead the technical support team for Epic, ensuring robust service delivery and uptime.
• Own OS imaging, patch management, and system lifecycle processes.
• Manager printing infrastructure.
• Supervise and develop a high-performing team including system administrators, engineers, and architects.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Establish and enforce IT operations standards, policies, and best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement of IT equipment.
• Coordinate and execute system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
• Ensure regular testing and execution of disaster recovery and data backup strategies.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance and cybersecurity protocols.
• Prepare operational reports and present system performance metrics to leadership.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize systems, tools, and workflows.

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field of education required
• 3-5 years in a management role
• Proven experience managing IT operations in a complex, hybrid environment.
• Strong technical expertise in systems administration, Citrix, Microsoft Azure, and endpoint management.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Familiarity with healthcare IT and Epic systems is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
