Electrician II-IUOE, Full Time, Varies

Under general supervision from higher level supervisor, performs union master electrical and electronic work.

Performs highly skilled electrical and electronic repairs and installations including program controllers; installs and assists in the installation of wire, conduit, fixtures, transformers, other electrical devices and other auxiliary equipment.

Plans implements and performs inspection programs of electrical systems, wiring components and accessories; repairs as needed to insure safe and serviceable condition.

Reads blueprints, sketches and layouts; plans jobs, determining amount of materials needed and time involved; makes cost estimates; compiles reports, requisitions, work orders, inventory lists and project records. Applies all codes pertinent to the classification (NEC).

May be required to lead skilled and semi-skilled electricians and trades people; assist supervisor in training new personnel; coordinate work with other trades.

Assists other trades workers in performance of routine maintenance, renovation and construction projects.

Maintains housekeeping conditions as prescribed by area. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Required: High School/GED. | Required: Journeyman Electrician License in OH, IN, KY or OCILB license in OH. OSHA 10-hour General Industry. NFPA 70E Electrical Safety. | Minimum Required: 2-5 years of experience.
