  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical, Engineering, Business, Public Health or a related field Required
  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • 2-3 Years of experience in a project-based environment Required
  • 5 Years of experience Preferred

Performance Improvement:

  • Lead, facilitate, and coach quality/performance improvement (PI) projects, in small and large group settings with all levels of staff from the front line to executives.
  • Support and lead data collection, validation, and long-term monitoring of performance for PI project outcomes and system operating metric priorities.
  • Aid PI project teams in conducting root cause analysis to gain insight into core problems.
  • Streamline processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste through best practices and innovative solutions.

Coaching and Development:

  • Empower staff and participants by actively integrating PI strategies into their work, fostering continuous learning and operational excellence.
  • Deliver impactful feedback for leaders and PI project teams through a thoughtful, question-based approach that promotes reflection, strengthens change management capabilities, and accelerates professional development.
  • Support the design and creation of structured learning opportunities, just-in-time modules and online material to maximize learning of users/participants

Program Management:

  • Provide strategic guidance for and development of the PI department through creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures, tools and templates, and research.
  • Serve as an internal marketing and communications resource to patients/families, staff, physicians/faculty, and/or the community for issues related to PI.
  • Monitor and communicate situations that affect daily operations.
  • Clear, efficient and professional communication to support the activities of the department. Openly and proactively communicate across system departments, sites or teams as appropriate. Quickly resolve miscommunication/misunderstanding in a professional manner. Prioritize multiple requests for information. Assemble and distribute material for project communications as necessary.
