This person provides strategic marketing and communications services for UC Health, including serving on project teams and executing marketing and communications strategies and tactics through a variety of vehicles. Serves as project representative to meet long- and short-range goals and objectives. The candidate should have extensive experience in project management and developing and executing marketing a that support overall strategic and business development plans. He or she should able be able to provide specific examples of those plans and the metrics related to their performance (i.e. ROI, net increase in business, etc.).
Location: Hybrid/ UC Health Business Center Department: Marketing and Communications Hours: 40 Shift: First
Minimum Required: Bachelor's in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, or relevant field (B.A. or B.S.). Minimum Required: 5 Years equivalent experience. Preferred: 6-8 Years equivalent experience.

Job Function: Creative Leadership & Design Development
Lead support on Marketing & Communications projects through delivering strategic design executions for internal and external communications across all marketing touchpoints to support UC Health’s organizational growth goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Conceptualize and execute innovative creative for campaigns, digital, print, social, and brand initiatives
- Translate strategic briefs into clear, compelling visual ideas and systems
- Push creative beyond the expected—elevating concept, craft, and storytelling
- Guide projects from concept through final execution with minimal oversight
- Provide direction and feedback to designers to elevate overall team output
- Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and emerging approaches, applying them thoughtfully
Job Function: Cross-functional Partnership
Act as a trusted creative partner across teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with marketing, communications, digital, and clinical stakeholders to develop effective solutions
- Work closely with writers and strategists to bring integrated ideas to life
- Present and defend creative work clearly, tying decisions back to strategy
- Navigate feedback from multiple stakeholders while protecting the integrity of the work
- Build strong relationships that position creative as a strategic partner, not a production function

Champion and evolve the UC Health brand.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all brand touchpoints
- Uphold and refine brand standards, visual systems, and templates
- Identify opportunities to strengthen and modernize the brand expression
- Serve as a go-to resource for brand guidance across the organization
Job Function: Project Ownership & Execution
Drive projects forward with clarity and accountability.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage multiple projects independently, balancing priorities and deadlines
- Own the creative process from intake through final delivery
- Partner with project managers and stakeholders to align on scope and timelines
- Prepare production-ready files for print, digital, and vendor handoff
- Proactively identify risks and solve problems before they impact delivery
