Vaco has partnered with a company seeking a proactive and client-focused individual to join their dynamic team as a Client Services Associate in the wealth management industry. The Client Services Associate will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service delivered to esteemed clients. Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Client Onboarding and Documentation: Facilitate the client onboarding process by collecting necessary documentation, conducting KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Account Maintenance: Handle account opening, maintenance, and closure processes accurately and efficiently. Update client records and account information as necessary.
- Transactional Support: Process client transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other account-related activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Investment Support: Assist clients with investment-related inquiries, such as portfolio performance, asset allocation, and investment strategies. Coordinate with investment advisors and portfolio managers as needed.
- Client Communication: Proactively communicate with clients regarding account updates, market developments, and relevant industry insights. Address client inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve client issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, escalating complex issues to senior management when necessary.
- Compliance and Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and compliance standards, ensuring client accounts and transactions comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including investment professionals, operations, and compliance, to deliver comprehensive and integrated solutions that meet client needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices to enhance client service delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in client services, preferably within the wealth management, investment banking, or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Series 7, Series 63) is a plus.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
